Heidi Klum - Germany's Hottest Export...
Heidi Klum, at the age of 33 has already had several successful careers. She is a supermodel in her own right after her initial debut in the fashion world as the "un-supermodel." Her waif-like appearance and relatively short stature (for a runway model) flew in the face of traditional conventions when she was at the height of her popularity in 1993 at age 19. Kate's counterparts at the the time included near six foot models such as Heidi Klum, Cindi Crawford and Claudia Schiffer. Discovered at the age of 14 by a modeling scout at JFK Airport in New York City, Moss's career began in earnest when she was selected for a black and white photograph series for British magazine "The Face" when she was only 15. Over the past 18 years Moss has been instrumental in successful product launcheds as the face of a diverse array of brands. From all of the top designers including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, and Versace, she has also helped launch a Coolpix Camera from Nikon. Her influence in the world of fashion extends beyond the runway as well, having been credited for starting numerous trends, popularizing garments and accessories by simply wearing them. Some of these include Westwood Pirate and Ugg boots, Repetto ballet flats and the Louis Vuitton Sprouse Leopard Cashmere Scarf. Nasanji Parker for http://www.SuperModelCalendars.com
